About Us

The Sunday School of CSI Immanuel Cathedral is dedicated to the spiritual nurturing and faith formation of children. Christian education is the intentional activity of the Church, and from the days of the missionaries, the Christian nurture of children has been a priority. Our Sunday School has been functioning since the inception of the church, shaping generations in Christ’s love and truth.

We currently serve 234 students guided by 42 committed teachers across three language mediums.

Objectives

  1. To lead every child into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  2. To nurture spiritual growth through Bible-based teaching, prayer, and worship.
  3. To instill Christian values and moral integrity for daily living.
  4. To equip children to serve God, the Church, and society with their God-given talents.
  5. To strengthen family faith through active involvement of parents and teachers.

Curriculum

We follow the activity-based Sunday School curriculum Living Lantern prescribed by the CSI Malabar Diocese, designed to engage children from Nursery to Discoverers level.
